Placement is everything here, and most new players lose their first few rounds simply because they build too fast without thinking about chokepoints. Slow down for a second before you drop that first turret. Look at where the path bends, where enemies bunch up, and put your heaviest hitters where they'll get the longest sightline down a straight stretch. Don't dump all your gold into one tower type either, since a wall of identical turrets falls apart the moment a wave with mixed armor and speed shows up. Mix splash damage with single-target snipers, and keep a little gold in reserve for emergency upgrades when a boss wave catches you off guard. Spells and reinforcements are there to bail you out, not to be hoarded like trophies, so use them the second a lane starts to buckle. Watch the enemy patterns for a round or two before committing to a full layout; the mountain and wasteland maps especially punish players who rush in with a forest-map mindset. Patience wins more runs than raw firepower does.

How To Play

• Click to select a tower spot and place your defenses along the path.
• Use the mouse to open build menus and pick between different turret types and spells.
• Click on placed towers to upgrade or specialize them as gold comes in.
• Drag or click to aim special abilities like fire spells at clustered enemies.
• Manage your resources between waves to prepare for tougher enemies ahead.
• Recruit and position reinforcements to plug gaps in your defensive line.

The whole point is to stop wave after wave of enemies from breaking through your lines and reaching the kingdom, building smarter each round while your arsenal grows strong enough to face down whatever monster shows up next.
